9 Aug 2015 - Following from the recent family get together, this could be a useful place to put together articles about the family.  Today I've made a piece about Hon John Barr and earthquakes public, and added a bit about the Scottish naming pattern and the family of John & Helen BARR

28 Jul 2013 - I'm repeating myself, went back to Addington cemetery to look for the same McDOWELLs stated below (and yes, triggered again by contact from the same distant relatives).  Did however take the opportunity to correct a couple of errors on the page I wrote in 2011.
